Parallel Text has no accounts, no comments, no newsletter, no advertising, no affiliate tracking and no analytics. It does not set cookies.

What is collected

• By Parallel Text: nothing. Pages are static files; we run no tracking scripts and do not measure audiences.
• By the hosting provider: Cloudflare, which serves the site, keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, time and requested page) to deliver pages and protect against attacks. The host's details are on the legal notice.

Fonts and images

The typefaces used on this site, Crimson Pro and Space Grotesk (both under the SIL Open Font License), are served by the site itself, from the same address as the pages. Your browser does not connect to Google Fonts or any other font service. All photographs are also stored on this site; none is loaded from a third party. Their sources are listed on the photo credits page.

No third-party services

There are no embedded videos, maps, social media buttons, comment systems, forms or advertising scripts on Parallel Text.

Links to other sites

Articles link to research papers, official texts and public institutions so that you can check the sources. Those links carry no tracking codes. The sites they lead to have their own privacy policies.
